Indian Oil Corporation Limited: Jr Engineer Asst

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the under mentioned posts at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Haldia Refinery. The prescribed qualification from Govt. recognized Indian university/Institute as a regular student and the required minimum post qualification experience as on 30/04/2011 for each post is given below.

Assistant Chemist
Qualification:
i) B.SC (H) in chemistry.
ii) 4 years experience in a reputed chemical industry preferably in petrochemical /Hydrocarbon sector. Should have hands on experience on UV visible spectro photometer, AAS, GC, HPLC etc

Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV (F&S)
Qualification: Matric (Preferably B.Sc with Phy., Chem. & Math) with Sub-Officer’s course from NFSC-Nagpur or any equivalent course of same duration with HMV Driving License. And Two years experience in Fire Service in Petroleum/Petrochemical/ Fertilizer or other large scale Industries.

Jr. Engg. Asstt-IV (Mech-CC)
Qualification:
3 yrs Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Matric with ITI in fitter trade
Essential: For Diploma holders min 1 yr. experience & for ITI min two years experience in carrying out Rigging or Fitting activities related to maintenance of rotary equipments such as compressors, Gas/steam turbines, pumps.

Candidates also possessing Experience on stationery equipments such as boilers, heat exchangers, column vessels, piping, valves and tanks etc. in a petroleum / petrochemical/ fertilizer companies and large thermal power plants will be given preference.

Materials Assistant-IV
Qualification:
Essential: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engg from Govt. recognized institute/College
Desirable: Diploma in materials management from Govt. recognized institute/College
Two years relevant post Qualification experience in operation or maintenance of an industry or of handling various types of materials used in an industry of repute.

Selection methodology:
Selection would be based on written test / trade test and personal interview. The candidates will have to pass successfully through each stage of the selection process including medical fitness for being adjudged suitable for selection.
