Applications are invited for a JRF position in the Salary range of Rs. 16000 + HRA (30%) fixed to work on a Ministry of Earth Sciences funded research project entitled “River Dynamics and Flood Risk Evaluation of the Kosi River, North Bihar Plains: An Integrated Approach” supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.
Qualifications Required: The candidates should have M.Sc./M.Tech. degree in Geology/ Applied Geology/Applied Geophysics and should have qualified UGC/GATE/NET examination. Students with experience in water resources, fluvial systems and/or remote sensing, GIS analysis will be given preferences. Duration: 1 years (renewable yearly upto project completion)
